Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of large-scale brine ice-making units (hereinafter referred to as "units").
This standard applies to ice-making units that use R717 or fluorinated hydrocarbons as refrigerants and produce non-edible block ice by indirect cooling with brine, with a daily output of not less than 10 tons.
Small-scale brine ice-making units and transparent ice brine ice-making units with a daily output of less than 10 tons may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
