Scope

This standard specifies the basic interface dimensions of the power transmission connector and its 12-V power plug used for the driver's operating position in the enclosed cab of agricultural tractors and machinery. The power transmission connector is intended to be used as a non-environmentally sealed, convenient power supply for auxiliary devices, providing the driver with a method of obtaining power without changing the layout of the tractor/machine's power wiring harness. This standard stipulates that the maximum current capacity of the power transmission connector is 30 A.
This standard does not apply to other voltage systems such as 6 V or 24 V.
