Scope
This part of GB/T 40420 specifies the network positioning, interface requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements, and management function requirements of the physical home gateway part of the broadband customer gateway after virtualization.
This part is applicable to physical home gateway devices of broadband customer gateways after virtualization in the public telecommunications network environment, and it can be used as a reference in private telecommunications networks.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, the broadband customer networks mentioned in this part refer to broadband customer networks based on the public telecommunications network, and the telecommunications networks refer to public telecommunications networks; the gateways refer to physical home gateways.
