Scope

This document specifies the technical specifications for the spinning forming process of large-scale curved box bottoms, including equipment requirements, blank design, tooling design, process procedures, and inspection and recording.
This document is applicable to the spinning forming of aluminum alloy curved box bottom parts with diameters ranging from 1,500 mm to 5,000 mm and wall thicknesses from 3 mm to 60 mm. The spinning forming of conical parts (with a zero curvature of the generatrix) shall be carried out in accordance with this document.
