Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for sleeve-type milling cutters, including their types and sizes, positional tolerances, appearance and surface roughness, materials and hardness, marking and packaging. These milling cutters feature straight holes and end keys for secure attachment to the tool holder. This standard applies to metric series integral high-speed steel sleeve-type milling cutters. It does not apply to inlaid teeth, welded teeth, or sleeve-type milling cutters equipped with replaceable inserts.
