Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and type testing for daytime signal lights that comply with the "Performance Standards for Daytime Signal Lights" [IMO MSC.95(72) Resolution].
This standard applies to daytime signal lights required for ships that comply with Chapter V of the amended 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and Chapter 8 of the current International Code for High-Speed Craft.
