Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for aluminum pipes used in agricultural irrigation systems, with a maximum operating temperature of 50°C. This standard applies to manually-pulled pipes, as well as fixed or temporarily installed pipes. This standard does not apply to fully integrated pipes. The standard for such pipes will be the subject of future research under this standard.
