This document describes a high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining β-apo-8′-carotenic acid ethyl ester in feed.
This document is applicable to the determination of β-apo-8′-carotenic acid ethyl ester in compound feed, concentrated feed, concentrate supplements, and premixed feed additives.
The detection limit for β-apo-8′-carotenic acid ethyl ester in compound feed, concentrated feed, and concentrate supplements is 0.15 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.50 mg/kg; the detection limit for β-apo-8′-carotenic acid ethyl ester in premixed feed additives is 1.5 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 5.0 mg/kg.
