Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test principles, test equipment and technical conditions, test procedures, V50 evaluation and data processing, and test reports for determining the anti-shrapnel simulation projectile performance of fiber-reinforced composite materials using the V50 ballistic limit method. This standard is applicable to the testing and evaluation of the V50 ballistic limit of various fiber-reinforced resin-based composite materials against shrapnel simulation projectiles. Other materials can also be referenced for implementation.
