Scope

This document stipulates the selection of varieties, planting system, growth process, seed preparation, sowing, chemical regulation, water and fertilizer management, pest and disease control, leaf removal for ripening, and centralized or mechanized harvesting requirements for concentrated maturity cultivation of cotton.
This document is applicable to large-scale, simplified, and mechanized cotton production in the cotton-growing regions of northwest China, the Yellow River basin, and the Yangtze River basin.
