This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for antimony trioxide, as well as its marking, packaging, transportation, and storage, and the content of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to antimony trioxide (commonly known as raw antimony) produced by the melting method from stibnite. Antimony trioxide is used in military industries, rubber, matches, and other industries.
