Scope
This standard specifies the on-site test methods for the comprehensive characteristics of electromagnetic transformers used in power engineering, as well as the methods for analyzing, calculating, and judging the test results. This standard applies to on-site tests of newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired electromagnetic transformers used in power engineering with a rated frequency of 50Hz and below, as well as the acceptance tests of transformers in power construction projects and preventive tests during power generation. This standard does not apply to the testing of laboratory transformers, electronic transformers, DC transformers, and miniature transformers.
