Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the rhodium content in liquid rhodium nitrate products, including the summary of the method, reagents, instruments and devices, analysis steps, result calculation, and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of rhodium content in liquid rhodium nitrate products used for rhodium-coated catalytic converters in automotive exhaust systems. The measurement range is 6.00% to 10.00%. This standard is also applicable to the determination of impurity elements such as platinum, palladium, ruthenium, iridium, gold, silver, copper, lead, iron, sodium, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, manganese, nickel, silicon, tin, and zinc in liquid rhodium nitrate products, with their concentrations not exceeding 0.0010%.
