Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for recycled zinc and zinc alloy ingots, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates, as well as the content of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to recycled zinc and zinc alloy ingots produced by smelting and processing using secondary zinc materials. They are used in fields such as galvanizing, casting, alloy production, chemical processing, and electrical applications.
