Scope

This standard specifies the measurement and verification methods for the power savings achieved by reducing the operating energy consumption of power lines due to an increase in operating voltage, including the main contents of measurement and verification, test plans and technical requirements, calculation of power savings and uncertainty analysis. This standard is applicable to the certification of power savings achieved by voltage increase in AC power lines, and is also applicable to energy efficiency assessments prior to the implementation of voltage increase projects for power lines.
