Scope
This standard specifies the principles, instruments, and test procedures for determining the folding resistance of film base and film (using the MIT folding tester method).
This standard is primarily applicable to cellulose triacetate film bases or polyester film bases, as well as photographic films (with or without a backing layer, processed or unprocessed) that use these film bases as a support.
