Scope

This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for determining the content of tetrabromobisphenol A and hexabromocyclododecane (α, β, and γ-hexabromocyclododecane) in toys.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of tetrabromobisphenol A and hexabromocyclododecane (α, β, and γ-hexabromocyclododecane) in plastic and textile materials in toys. This standard has been validated for acrylonitrile-styrene-butadiene plastics (ABS) and polyester fiber materials. After other toy materials are validated, they can be measured according to this standard.
