Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods for five common seed-borne viruses in melon crops—Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV), Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Melon necrotic spot virus (MNSV), Squash mosaic virus (SqMV), and Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV)—and the molecular identification methods for Potyviridae, Tobamovirus, and Sobemovirus.
