This standard specifies the terms and definitions, energy consumption limits, statistical scope, calculation methods, and main energy-saving measures for the unit energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) of soda ash produced by the ammonia-alkali process and the combined alkali process (including light soda ash and heavy soda ash). This standard applies to the calculation, control, and assessment of energy consumption in soda ash production enterprises using the ammonia-alkali process and the combined alkali process.
