Scope

This document describes the testing methods and experimental steps for gasket parameters, including the maximum allowable stress of the gasket Qsmax, the unloading elastic modulus EG, the creep relaxation factor PQR, the creep amount ΔeGC, the minimum assembly stress of the gasket Qmin(L), the minimum working stress of the gasket Qsmin(L), the axial thermal expansion coefficient αG, and the static friction coefficient μG.
This document is applicable to the testing of parameters for non-metallic flat gaskets (except rubber gaskets), semi-metallic gaskets, and metal gaskets. Gaskets of other shapes and sizes can also be used as a reference for testing.
