This document specifies the gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry identification method for 14 types of organophosphate ester flame retardants in polyurethane foam, including triethyl phosphate (TEP), triphenyl phosphate (TPP), triisobutyl phosphate (TiBP), tributyl phosphate (TBP), tri(2-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP), tri(2-chloropropyl) phosphate (TCPP), dibenzyl phosphate (DBPP), tri(1,3-dichloroisopropyl) phosphate (TDCPP), triphenyl phosphate (TPhP), tri(butoxyethyl) phosphate (TBEP), diphenyl octyl phosphate (DPOP), tri(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (TEHP), triorthotolyl phosphate (TOCP), and tri-methylbenzyl phosphate (TMCP). This document is applicable to the identification of the above-mentioned 14 types of organophosphate ester flame retardants in polyurethane foam.
