This standard specifies the general principles, integrity policies, planning, implementation and operation, inspection and improvement, evaluation and declaration for food inspection institutions to establish and implement integrity management systems.
This standard is applicable to food inspection institutions that wish to:
——conduct self-evaluations and make self-declarations, and seek confirmation of their compliance from relevant parties of the food inspection institutions;
——seek external confirmation of their self-declarations;
——seek external evaluation and audit (or certification and accreditation) of their integrity management systems.
