Scope

This standard specifies the equipment for drop test of dangerous goods packages, sample pretreatment, inspection quantity, test steps, and test reports. This standard applies to drop test measurements of dangerous goods packages. This standard does not apply to: — Transportation packages containing radioactive substances; — Packaging of pressure vessels containing compressed gases and liquefied gases; — Packages with a net weight exceeding 400 kg; — Packages with a volume exceeding 450 L.
