DB34/T 3194-2018 Heavy casting inspection regulations for coal-fired power plants

Scope

This standard specifies the inspection and testing work content and corresponding evaluation criteria for large-scale castings in thermal power plants before installation and during operation. This standard applies to the inspection and testing of large-scale castings made of carbon steel and alloy steel in the following thermal power plants: a) valve bodies with a nominal diameter of DN200 to DN1200; b) three-way valves and elbow pipes with a nominal outer diameter of not less than 273 mm and a wall thickness of not less than 20 mm; c) cylinders, steam chambers, main steam valves, speed regulating steam valves, nozzle chambers, etc. with an operating temperature of not less than 400℃. The inspection and testing of other large-scale castings such as variable diameter pipes can be carried out by reference to this standard.
