Scope

This specification stipulates the classification, technical requirements, test methods, construction processes, and acceptance standards for foam warm-mix asphalt mixtures. For matters not covered by this specification, the provisions of relevant standards and specifications promulgated by the state shall apply. This specification is applicable to the construction of new and reconstructed asphalt pavements using foam warm-mix asphalt mixtures. Due to its technical characteristics of reducing harmful gas emissions and improving compaction, it is particularly suitable for the construction of asphalt pavements under specific conditions such as thin-layer overlay, hot-recycled asphalt pavements, asphalt pavements under low-temperature conditions, asphalt pavements in long tunnels, and asphalt pavements passing through densely populated urban areas.
