Scope
This document defines the symbols related to physics, strength, and heat involved in the description of ceramic matrix composites, as well as the symbols used to determine the characteristics of ceramic matrix composites, with the aim of avoiding confusion when reporting measurement results and product characteristics.
Wherever possible, the definitions are consistent with the relevant sections of ISO 80000. Additionally, this document also defines the symbols used to measure these characteristics.
