Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the geographical scope, definitions and classifications, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling and packaging, and transportation and storage requirements for Yilong Rouge Radish cultivation areas. Main Technical Content: B.1 Variety Selection: Select varieties that are cold-resistant, disease-resistant, and storage-friendly, with gourd-shaped flesh roots and distinct varietal characteristics. Each root weighs approximately 100g, and both the root skin and flesh are Rouge-red in color. The tissues are compact. These are purified and rejuvenated local Rouge radish varieties suitable for processing. B.2 Cultivation Management: B.2.1 Soil, Fertilizer, and Water Management: Approximately 20 days before sowing, deep-till the soil for 20 days, with a tilling depth of 25–35 cm. Level the soil thoroughly and open rows about 80 cm wide. Apply base fertilizer at the row surface during planting, mixing 2,500 kg of composted organic fertilizer, 30 kg of superphosphate, and 1 kg of borax per mu. Level the soil surface after tilling. B.2.2 Field Management: - After 5–7 days of seedling emergence, check and replant as needed. When the cotyledons unfold, thin the seedlings once, leaving 4 seedlings per hole. When the second or third true leaves appear, thin again, leaving 2 seedlings per hole. Apply 1 kg of borax dissolved in composted manure per mu as a top dressing 7 days after the first fertilization. Mix 15 kg of urea and 5 kg of potassium chloride in a 1:150 ratio and apply via irrigation 2–3 inches from the root. About 6 days after the second fertilization, apply 6 kg of urea and 10 kg of potassium chloride in a 1:150 ratio via irrigation 2–3 inches from the root. B.2.3 Pest and Disease Control: Adhere to the principle of "prevention-oriented, integrated control." Use natural methods such as sprinkling ash to control aphids, caterpillars, and viral diseases, as well as soft rot and downy mildew. Chemical or biolo
