Scope

This procedure is applicable to the verification of direct-reading electric field detectors type X and γ-ray personal dosimeters that are newly manufactured and in use. The energy range of the radiation is 30 keV to 3.0 MeV.
This procedure is not applicable to the verification of personal dosimeters in vacuum chambers.
