Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for the production environment, production techniques, pollution control, water and soil conservation, biodiversity protection, transportation and storage, packaging and labeling, and management system norms and requirements for the production of organic navel oranges in Fengjie County and its surrounding areas. Main technical content: 3.1 Terminology and definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.2 Organic navel oranges: Navel oranges produced, processed, and sold in accordance with this standard and certified by a certification body. 3.3 Conventional navel oranges: Navel oranges and their products produced and managed in accordance with this standard. 3.4 Conversion period: The period from the start of management according to this standard to the obtaining of organic certification for production units and products. The conversion period is at least 24 months.
