Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for the production environment, production techniques, pollution control, water and soil conservation, biodiversity protection, transportation and storage, packaging and labeling, and management system norms and requirements for the production of organic navel oranges in Fengjie County and its surrounding areas. Main technical content: 3.1 Terminology and definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.2 Organic navel oranges: Navel oranges produced, processed, and sold in accordance with this standard and certified by a certification body. 3.3 Conventional navel oranges: Navel oranges and their products produced and managed in accordance with this standard. 3.4 Conversion period: The period from the start of management according to this standard to the obtaining of organic certification for production units and products. The conversion period is at least 24 months. Newly cleared orchards or orchards with sufficient evidence showing that no substances prohibited by this standard have been used for more than 24 months should also undergo at least a 12-month conversion period. 3.5 Parallel production: The simultaneous production of identical or indistinguishable organic or conventional navel oranges in the same production unit. 3.6 Biodiversity: The diversity of life forms and ecosystem types on Earth, including genetic diversity. 3.7 Labeling: The marking of products on their packaging, labels, or in accompanying instructional materials in the form of written or printed text or graphics. 3.8 Certification mark: A proprietary symbol, pattern, or combination of symbols, patterns, and text that certifies that the production or processing of a product complies with organic standards and has passed certification. 4 Production environment requirements 4.1 The boundaries of orchards for organic navel orange production should be clear, with good ecological conditions, loose and fertile soil, and con
