Scope

This standard specifies a microbiological test method for verifying the cleaning and disinfection effect of cleaning and disinfection equipment. This standard is applicable to cleaning and disinfection equipment used for wet heat disinfection of surgical and anesthesia devices, etc., but not to cleaning and disinfection equipment that uses chemical disinfection methods and whose disinfection objects are not heat-resistant.
Note: YY/T 0734.1 and YY/T 0734.2 specify the requirements and methods for verifying the cleaning and disinfection effect of cleaning and disinfection equipment. This standard provides an optional microbiological verification method, but it is not the only method for verifying the cleaning and disinfection effect. Methods provided by other standards that have been proven to be effective are also applicable.
