This standard specifies the 11x12 dot matrix fonts for CJK Unified Chinese characters and their extended set A, as well as the mandatory Chinese characters in GB 18030, in the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane. The standard also specifies the 11x12 dot matrix fonts for the 196 Chinese characters in the Common Standard Chinese Character Table outside the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane.
