Scope
This standard specifies the 13×14 dot matrix fonts for CJK unified Chinese characters and their extended set A, as well as the mandatory Chinese characters in GB 18030, in the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane. The standard also defines the 13×14 dot matrix fonts for the 196 Chinese characters in the Common Standard Chinese Character Table outside the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane. This standard is applicable to various electronic information technology products and digital products, and can also be used in other related equipment.
