This document is applicable to the electron beam irradiation processing of five traditional Chinese medicines, including Coptis chinensis, Rheum officinale, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica, and Aconitum sibinum, including medicinal materials, sliced medicinal materials, raw powders, and single-ingredient solid preparations. Main technical content: This standard is mainly divided into two parts: the main text and the appendix. The main text includes: scope, normative references, terms and definitions, requirements before irradiation, process control during irradiation, and requirements after irradiation; the appendix includes: recommended thickness values for single/double-sided irradiation with 10 MeV, 20 kW electron beams for the five traditional Chinese medicines.
