Scope
Scope: This regulation stipulates the terms and definitions, environmental conditions of the production area, source reduction technologies, process blocking technologies, end-of-pipe treatment technologies, and harvesting for nitrogen and phosphorus loss and non-point source pollution of facility melon beans during autumn and winter planting in Ningxia. This regulation applies to the prevention and control of nitrogen and phosphorus loss in soil of facility melon beans under drip irrigation conditions in Ningxia during autumn and winter planting. Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Nitrogen and phosphorus loss in facility melon bean soil The process in which nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in the soil are leached out of the root zone of melon beans through irrigation and fertilization. 3.2 Straw reactor technology Under the action of microorganisms and purification agents, straw is directedly converted into organic and inorganic nutrients required for plant growth, achieving high yield and quality of crops. 3.3 Source control technology Determine the total nutrient demand based on the target yield of facility melon beans during autumn and winter planting, control irrigation during the idle period, increase straw bio-reactors, and apply organic and inorganic fertilizers in combination to effectively control the loss of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in soil from the source. 3.4 Process blocking technology During the growth of facility melon beans in autumn and winter, effectively block the loss of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in soil through technologies such as integrated water and fertilizer management. 4.
