Scope

Main Technical Content: 4. Overall Requirements 4.1 The site should be located in a high-altitude, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from noise. It must not be located in areas prohibited by the *People's Republic of China Animal Husbandry Law* and comply with relevant laws and regulations, as well as the land use planning in the region. It must be at least 500 meters away from sources of drinking water, residential areas, major transportation routes, other poultry farms, and poultry slaughter and processing facilities. 4.2 The site environment should meet the requirements of NY/T388. 4.3 Requirements for breeding geese: 4.3.1 Chicks should come from breeding farms with a breeding poultry business license and free from avian influenza, gosling plague, goose adenovirus disease, eggshell disease, or poultry cholera. Alternatively, they may be healthy chicks produced from breeding eggs that have undergone on-site quarantine and inspection. 4.3.2 The goose flock should originate from the same breeding farm or expansion facility. If chicks come from different breeding farms, they must undergo isolation, observation, and quarantine to confirm the absence of infectious diseases before being mixed and raised together. 4.4 Water quality requirements: The water quality should meet the requirements of NY5027. 4.5 Feed requirements: 4.5.1 Feed should comply with NY5032 and be of fresh quality, free from spoilage, mold, clumping, odor, or contamination. 4.5.2 Additives used should have a production license and comply with GB13078 requirements. 4.6 Veterinary drug use: 4.6.1 Adding veterinary drugs to drinking water or feed should comply with NY/T5030, while maintaining good feed management to minimize disease occurrence and reduce drug usage. 4.7 Epidemic prevention: Immunization injections should be performed according to the breeding goose immunization schedule (see Appendix A). 4.8 Hygiene and disinfection: 4.8.1 Disinfectant requirements: Sele
