This standard specifies the security requirements for signature generation applications (SCAs) that produce reliable electronic signatures, including: defining a model of the signature generation environment and a functional model of the signature generation application; stipulating general requirements applicable to all functional modules in the functional model; and stipulating the security requirements for each functional module in the signature generation application, except for SSCD.
