Scope
This standard specifies the classification, types, and markings of the maximum detectable steel thickness test cards used in industrial computed tomography (CT) inspections, as well as the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to the type inspection and factory inspection of the maximum detectable steel thickness test cards for industrial CT systems with a radiation energy of 225 keV or higher. This standard can also be used as the basis for user acceptance of orders.
