Sheep Farm Construction 4.1 Site Selection and Construction The site selection and environmental conditions comply with the provisions of NY/T 2665, the water quality meets the requirements of NY/T 5027, and the construction conforms to the regulations of T/SDAA 0043. T/SDAA 0051-2021 4.2 Sheep Sheds and Feeding/Drinking Troughs Fattening sheep sheds can adopt single-row or double-row stalls. Each sheep has a floor area of 0.8 m2 to 1.0 m2, with feeding trough positions of 25 cm to 30 cm and drinking trough positions of 10 cm. For every 10 to 15 sheep, one automatic waterer is installed. 4.3 Manure and Waste Treatment Implement rainwater and wastewater separation. Sheep manure, urine, and wastewater shall be treated harmlessly through methods such as stacking or fermentation in biogas tanks, with hygiene standards meeting the requirements of GB 7959. Waste management complies with GB 18596. 5. Nutrition and Feed 5.1 Nutritional Requirements Follow the provisions of NY/T 816. 5.2 Forage and Additives Raw materials comply with the Feed Raw Materials Catalog of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; additives comply with the Feed Additives Variety Catalog of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Hygiene requirements meet GB 13078, and usage requirements comply with NY 5032. 5.3 Fattening Feed It includes two types: complete pellet feed and TMR. Based on the nutritional needs of different weights during the fattening period, formulate daily rations, with formulas referenced in Appendices A1 and A2. 6. Lamb Preparation 6.1 Lamb Selection Select healthy, disease-free weaned lambs aged 2 to 3 months, weighing 20 kg to 25 kg, with well-proportioned development and medium to above-average fatness.
