Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation, and storage of torque balances.
This standard applies to torque balances (hereinafter referred to as balances) whose main structure consists of a single-arm lever and two types of elastic elements, namely flat coil springs and leaf springs, which use the balanced torque generated by the elastic deflection angle to conduct measurements.
