Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements for the harvest, post-harvest processing, packaging, storage, and transportation of lantern peppers. This standard applies to the post-harvest processing of Lishui mountain-grown fresh lantern peppers. Main technical content: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Lantern peppers specifically refer to the local Lishui variety of lantern peppers. The fruit has a lantern-shaped shape, with the fruit hanging downward. The unripe fruit is green-yellow, and the ripe fruit is bright red. The fruit has grooves in the surface, a smooth glossy skin, a slightly concave and flat shoulder shape, a concave top shape, no navel attachments, and a flat base with remaining calyx. The cross-section of the fruit is irregular, with 4 chambers, a commercial fruit longitudinal diameter of 35–60 mm, a transverse diameter of 30–50 mm, and a flesh thickness of 1.5–3.5 mm. 3.2 Spotted fruit refers to lantern peppers with black or black-spotted fruits. 4. Quality requirements and grade specifications 4.1 Pre-harvest quality technical requirements: The cultivation environment and technical conditions should comply with the relevant provisions on ecological environment and planting process in T/LSSGB 001 chapters 4 and 5. Strengthen planting management and implement the provisions in DB33/T 2090 chapter 6 and T/LSSGB 001 chapter 5. 4.2 Quality requirements and grade specifications 4.2.1 The quality requirements for lantern peppers should comply with the relevant provisions of T/LSSGB 001. The limits of other pollutants and the maximum residue limits of pesticides should comply with the relevant provisions of GB 2762 and GB 2763. 4.2.2 Lantern peppers should be fresh, plump, free from rot, with a clean surface, no impurities, no damage caused by insects and diseases, and no abnormal odor. 4.2.3 Subject to the basic requirements, lantern peppers can be divided into extra-grade, first-grade, and seco
