Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, production environment, land preparation and base fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, product quality, and production records for "Xiangjiayuan" pumpkins. This document applies to the production of "Xiangjiayuan" pumpkins. Main technical content: (1) This document stipulates requirements for the production environment, land preparation and base fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging and storage, waste disposal, product quality, and production records of "Xiangjiayuan" pumpkins. (2) The production environment conditions of this document shall comply with T/XJY 1001-2021, "Environmental Quality Requirements for Vegetable Production Areas of 'Xiangjiayuan'". It also sets requirements for land selection. (3) Based on the current successful experience and practices of "Xiangjiayuan" pumpkin production, this document stipulates the entire cultivation management requirements from land preparation and base fertilization, seedling cultivation (including variety selection, sowing time, seedling management, and strong seedling specifications), transplanting, field management (including water management and fertilizer application), harvesting, and waste disposal. For example, in the section on land preparation and base fertilization, it stipulates deep plowing and sunning of the soil, disinfection, types and quantities of fertilizers, trenching and ridge making, and requirements for the ridge surface.
