Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the nickel content in sintered nickel and nickel oxide by electrolytic gravimetry, and for determining the cobalt, copper, iron, zinc, and manganese contents by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the analysis of nickel, cobalt, copper, iron, zinc, and manganese contents in sintered nickel, nickel oxide, and partially reduced nickel oxide.
