Scope

This verification system is suitable for gamma-ray therapy levels [with an air dose rate of approximately (001~10) Gy/min], protection levels [with an air dose rate of approximately (1×10-6~1) Gy/h], and environmental levels [with an air dose rate of approximately (1×10-8~1×10-4) Gy/h] of air dose rate measurement instruments. It includes the procedures, methods, and optimal measurement capabilities for transferring values from gamma-ray air dose rate reference measurement instruments to working measurement instruments through standard measurement instruments. When conducting gamma-ray air dose rate calibration projects, this verification system can serve as a basis for traceability of values.
The gamma-ray air dose rate measurement instrument verification system consists of reference measurement instruments, standard measurement instruments, and working measurement instruments. The gamma-ray air dose rate reference measurement instruments transfer values to working measurement instruments through standard measurement instruments, ensuring the accuracy and uniformity of air dose rate values in China.
