Scope

Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements, sampling requirements, testing methods, and evaluation rules for the quality grading of high-quality raw milk in Ningxia. This document applies to the quality grading of high-quality raw milk in Ningxia and is recommended as a reference basis for the pricing of raw milk transactions; Main technical content: 3. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Raw milk Refers to unaltered whole milk extracted from the mammary glands of healthy cows that meet relevant national requirements. Colostrum produced within 7 days after calving, milk during antibiotic treatment and withdrawal periods, and spoiled milk shall not be used as raw milk. 3.2 High-quality raw milk Refers to raw milk that meets the national standards for raw milk, with higher protein and fat content than the national standards, lower total colony count and somatic cell count than the national standards, and free from harmful components such as aflatoxin M1 and nitrite. 3.3 Grade evaluation Grade evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of raw milk quality based on physicochemical indicators, microbiological indicators, cow health indicators, feed safety indicators, and environmental safety indicators. 4. Technical requirements 4.1 General requirements Shall comply with GB 19301. 4.2 Quality grade evaluation The division of raw milk quality grades shall comply with Table 1.
