Main Diseases and Pests 5.1 Major diseases include anthracnose, gray mold, powdery mildew, and wilt, etc. The key points for their diagnosis and identification, as well as their main occurrence patterns, are detailed in Appendix A.1. 5.2 Major pests include spider mites (two-spot spider mite and cinnabar spider mite), aphids, cutworm moths, and thrips, etc. The key points for their identification and main occurrence patterns are detailed in Appendix A.2. 6. Safe Use Methods 6.1 Pesticide selection should comply with the requirements of NY/T 1276 to choose highly effective, low-toxicity, and low-residue pesticides registered for use on strawberries, or select pesticides specified in NY/T 393, and purchase them from pesticide-operating outlets with qualifications. It is recommended to alternately use pesticides with different mechanisms of action. For the main diseases and pests on strawberries, refer to Appendix B for medication recommendations. 6.2 Control periods should be based on the occurrence characteristics of different diseases and pests, combined with the actual situation in the field, and accurately grasp the control indicators and suitable control periods. 6.3 Pesticide application 6.3.1 Pesticides should be applied in accordance with the pesticide product label or GB 12475, controlling the application dose, frequency, method, and safety intervals. The pesticide dose and application scope should not be increased. When applying pesticides, appropriate application methods should be selected in accordance with NY/T 1277. When spraying, low-volume spraying should be used; when fumigating, the greenhouse should be sealed in the evening and ventilated for 1 hour before entering the next day. Avoid applying pesticides in high temperatures, rainy weather, or when the wind speed exceeds 3 levels.
