Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for the content of 39 components in praseodymium-neodymium-dysprosium alloys.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the total rare earth content, praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium content, the distribution of 15 rare earth elements, the content of 12 rare earth impurities (lanthanum, cerium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, yttrium), the content of 5 non-rare earth metal impurities (iron, silicon, aluminum, calcium, magnesium), as well as the content of carbon, oxygen, and chlorine in praseodymium-neodymium-dysprosium alloys.
