Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and shelf life of the preservative imidazolidinyl urea used in cosmetics.
This standard applies to imidazolidinyl urea. Imidazolidinyl urea is produced by reacting formaldehyde and allantoin under alkaline conditions and is used as a preservative in cosmetics.
