Scope
This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of chloramine T in cosmetics.
This standard is applicable to the determination of chloramine T in cosmetics such as creams, lotions, loose powders, shampoos, and toothpastes.
This standard is not applicable to products that contain p-toluenesulfonamide.
The detection limit of chloramine T in this standard is 8.0 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 16.5 mg/kg.
