Scope

This regulation applies to the construction and acceptance of new projects of elevated or ground-based urban public transportation systems mainly using rubber-tired guide rail vehicles, with a maximum passenger flow in peak hours of no more than 10,000 people and a maximum operating speed of no more than 80 km/h, and guided by intermediate guide rails.
