Scope
This document stipulates the qualification requirements for personnel and organizations conducting effectiveness assessments of safety monitoring systems in process industries, the management and responsibilities of assessment activities, the cycle and phases of conducting effectiveness assessments, and the scope, process, basis, and document requirements for assessment activities at each phase.
This document is applicable to design, operation, and consulting units in process industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, etc. for conducting effectiveness assessments of safety monitoring systems. Other industries in the process industry can refer to and implement it accordingly.
